Polyhymnia, keeper of the hymn within ineffable silence, receive the reverence of this voice. Yours is the solemn beauty through which praise becomes worthy of the Divine presence. Glory to Zeus, whose majesty fills the sacred word and whose sovereignty sustains the mystery. Hail, veiled Muse, abundant in hymns; hail, Zeus, before whom every true prayer unfolds its meaning and returns in thanksgiving.
After you are done with this, you can meditate on Polyhymnia's Sigil in the Temple of Zeus. Let yourself be immersed and to receive energy from Polyhymnia.
It's important to meditate on yourself after the Ritual calmly for a few minutes.
Silence clothed in sacred hymn
The Golden Book invokes Polyhymnia as she who clothes ineffable silence in sacred hymn. The prayer hallows the tongue for Divine names and keeps the soul present in the invocation, opening it to participation while preserving the mystery’s solemn dignity. Her veiled visage and altar flame express this gathered reverence. The Golden Book of Zeus, Invocation of the Muses · Polyhymnia
Silence and utterance
The hymn gives silence a sacred office: it keeps the word until the voice can carry it faithfully. Polyhymnia’s contemplative image holds this inward fullness within its outward stillness. Her praise joins the preserved word to living utterance and the utterance to divine remembrance. The Muses: traditional literary and artistic attributes
Reading the Shenu
A veiled visage stands at the centre, with a scroll and lyre beside it. Three rays rise above the head, while a flame burns over the stepped altar below. Laurel attends the sacred work. The triangle joins the attentive face, the preserved text and the offered flame into a single composition of praise.
The sacred letters
Π · Υ · Σ brings together Πολύμνια, ὕμνος and σιγή: Polyhymnia, the sacred hymn and silence. In her rite the letters gather the word held in reverence and the voice that brings it forth in praise. Temple of Zeus: sacred-letter recitation
