Euterpe, sweetness of the sacred breath, receive the praise that rises through the sounding reeds and rests within the listening soul. Glory to Zeus, father of your divine harmony, in whose presence the many voices find their accord. Hail to the Muse who fills the hymn with living joy. Hail to Zeus, whose immortal splendour is answered by the music of the Gods.
After you are done with this, you can meditate on Euterpe's Sigil in the Temple of Zeus. Let yourself be immersed and to receive energy from Euterpe.
It's important to meditate on yourself after the Ritual calmly for a few minutes.
The aulos
The aulos was a reed instrument, commonly played as a pair. The paired pipes in the seal refer to this musical tradition. The prayer joins the making of sound to its reception; the listener shares in the sacred work. The Muses: traditional literary and artistic attributes
The harmony of sacred hearing
In the Golden Book, Euterpe orders breath through musical harmony. Each utterance receives its measure from silence, while hearing receives the meaning within the melody and rises towards divine concord. The paired pipes in her Shenu give visible form to this union of sacred breath, sound and understanding. The Golden Book of Zeus, Invocation of the Muses · Euterpe
Reading the Shenu
The reed heads and pipes stand between balanced spirals of breath. Their unfolding movement answers the open flower at the base. The overlapping angular forms hold a stable centre within the flowing signs. The seal is contemplated as the meeting of breath, pattern and bloom; its full geometry is the composition of this rite.
The sacred letters
Ε · Α · Μ brings together Εὐτέρπη, αὐλός and μέλος: Euterpe, the pipe and melody. The letters accompany the passage of living breath into music, gathering the sound of her instruments into divine harmony. Temple of Zeus: sacred-letter recitation
