Ritual of the Great Ancestors

Great Followers of the Gods,
Known and Unknown,
Recorded or Forgotten,
Ancestors of Ancestors!

You hail from the East, the West, the North, and the South,
But all of you come from the Eternal Center of the Universe!

Hear the descendants of the Gods in this Era.
Aid us in understanding and walking the Path.

Asclepius, Lord and Healing Demi-God,
Pythagoras, Master of the Seers,
Aristotle, Master of Knowledge,
Plato, Great One of the Domains,
Socrates, Master of the Path,
And many more to Name!

I too am an aspiring and glowing flower in the hands of the Gods.
Let me not be forsaken.
Let the Ancestors Guide Me.
Let my blood, which is connected to the Gods, gather life from the Great Source.

Grant me strength and knowledge to walk the Path.
Grant me strength and wisdom to not fall off the Path.
May the Gods bless you for what you have done for Humanity.
May you know, on this day, that you are eternally appreciated.

Keepers of the Oaths,
You appear and reappear in Many Forms,
Same is the underlying force of Truth that drives You,
Blessed be the seer of this generation that reconnects us,
O Heavenly Family.

Sworn upon the power of the Tetractys, you walked the Path,
And the Gods said of you, "Blessed are our students who walk in the Power of the Light, the Path of He who brings the Light."
The Gods were pleased with your existence!

I too belong in the House of the Greats,
And I shall grow in it like a flower.
May the Ancestors of mine, whomever they are,
Bless me in this very task!

For I was a man/woman born of mortal ignorance,
But then I found Zeus, the Great One,
The Ineffable Name of Names,
The Master of the Cosmos,
In whose waters I stand spiritually reborn.

Our Lord has gone by Many Names,
Endless Attributes, and Many Titles.

"So who is He?" the Initiate Asked Pythagoras the Great.
And the Great One Answered: "He is, He IS, Behold what IS!"

So as the Great Ones have seen, may I also see.
